Thanks for dropping in.

Hi, my name is Wai Keen. As you have probably guessed
by now, its pronunciation is close to Why Keen.

Either way, Why Keen serves its purpose. It is a constant
question I ask myself, as a measure of where I am in life.

Life is a collection of memories, and events, stringed together
by time. There are so many events that you only have a memory
of, which you are unable to get back. Lost schools, old homes,
old friends, your very first date…

That explains my constant need to record!

————–Why Videography?

I have been training to become a programmer, for 3 years
and working as one for almost 3 years before I decided I
didn’t have the interest, nor the aptitude for that job.

For as long as I can remember, I like to express myself,
and have been doing so by writing, sketching, singing,
taking photos and later on, videos. (I found my very
first video production from more than 10 years back,
when I was in Secondary school.)

I am crazy about movies, and TV, and have always tried to
figure out “How did they do it on television?”

So slowly, I am becoming better. All those years back, I used to
just document, but now I strive to tell a story with each frame.
But no matter how techniques and equipments improve, my videos
have been described to “have heart”. I intend to keep doing it that
way.
